A. smrDialer Basics

Understanding what the smrtDialer product is, how it's priced, and how it integrates with smrtPhone:

  • ๐Ÿคจ What is the difference between smrtPhone and smrtDialer? smrtPhone is our cloud-based phone system. smrtDialer is the power dialer that allows you to create calling campaigns that automatically dial a predetermined list. You must have a smrtPhone subscription to use the smrtDialer power dialer.

  • โ“ What is the difference between Single line and Multi-line? With single line smrtDialer, the system will dial one contact at a time in an automated and efficient fashion. With multi-line you can choose to dial up to four numbers/four leads at the same time - you are in control of the number of simultaneous calls.

  • ๐Ÿ’ณ How does smrtDialer pricing work? Similar to smrtPhone, you pay a subscription fee either monthly or prepay for the year at a discounted rate and then you pay for the usage (call minutes, call recordings, etc.) The subscription itself is per seat.

  • ๐Ÿ’บ How to assign agents to seats. All users have access to smrtDialer, but only those assigned to a seat can dial campaigns. Each seat is "unnamed" allowing for flexibility in assigning agents.

smrtDialer supercharges your smrtPhone system, increases your outbound calling rate, streamlines lead qualification, and fills your pipeline faster.

B. Access smrtDialer

Select smrtDialer from the left-hand menu, and it will open with some options in the submenu:

  • Campaigns (open by default) - the heart of smrtDialer. This is where you set up your different lists to be called, determine how they will be called, and what will happen when specific dispositions are chosen at the completion of calls.

  • Archived Campaigns - this will come in handy when you want to restore an older campaign.

  • Monitoring - If you have smrtPhone Pro, Call Monitoring is available for smrtDialer calls as well as regular smrtPhone calls. Call Monitoring allows you to watch all of the active smrtDialer calls, listen in, and whisper or barge as needed.

  • DNC Numbers - This is where numbers who are on the Do Not Call list appear - whether they have been added through a smrtDialer disposition or manually added to the list from this section.

  • Documentation - our collection handling smrtDialer

  • Setup - This is where the core setup for smrtDialer will take place. In this section, you will manage your seats and user permissions.

C.Preparing to Build a Campaign

There is some strategy and pre-work that must be completed before you build a campaign in the smrtDialer system. If you have these elements decided ahead of time, the actual building of the campaign will be a breeze.

Campaign Strategy

To optimize outcomes, you need to know where you are aiming (vision and goals) and the tactics you want to use to get there.

  • ๐Ÿ“ˆ Goal: What are you trying to achieve with this campaign? What does a successful call look like?

  • ๐ŸŽฏ Target audience: Who will you be calling? How many people will you be calling?

  • โ˜Ž Number of lines. If you subscribe to the Multi-Line smrtDialer, you can do up to 4 lines of simultaneous calling.

  • ๐Ÿ Dispositions / Statuses - Decide how you want to tag completed calls and what you would like to happen to the leads that fall in each bucket.

Lead Sources

The next step after determining your strategy and preparing your assets is to decide how you want to bring leads into smrtDialer.

You have two options: from a list within Billions or by direct Excel upload. Each has its own benefits.

Building a campaign from a list within Billions is the best way to have dynamic lead lists that adjust based on specific criteria and keep your campaign powered in an ongoing manner.

๐Ÿ“ค Option 2: Excel Upload Directly into smrtDialer

Building a campaign around an Excel upload is great for large lists and cold calling. You bring the list into smrtDialer push only the warm leads to Billions.

When a person is qualified, they can be marked as qualified and pushed to CRM as a People.

(You can then have a secondary campaign built to run from a dynamic list of Pushed Leads, allowing you to stay timely with your follow-ups.)
