Adjust your smrtPhone integration settings as a Tape Account Owner or User with permissions

If you are the smrtPhone Account Owner or a User with appropriate permissions, you can customize settings related to the integration between smrtPhone and your CRM.

Settings are found on the Dashboard > Admin Tab > Tape Setup.

  • Change your Contacts App

  • Reinstall your Communications App

  • Switch the Organization

  • Resync leads

  • Edit App Info and Fields that are synced

  • Map Users


Reconfigure and Reinstall

From this page, you can make changes at the App Info and Synced Fields levels.

Press the Reconfigure button and edit the fields, selecting from the drop-down menus. Here you see both mandatory (Name/Surname/Phone Number) and optional (Photo/Position/Company) fields.

Once you are done, do not forget to click the Apply Changes button to see these new settings in your system. If you've changed your mind, just press Cancel.

Additionally, you can make changes to the Communications App that is linked to your system and reinstall this App.


Resync Contacts

To resync leads, you will have to click on the Contacts App and hit Resync Contacts and this will trigger a resync. Any new leads from your CRM will be pushed into smrtPhone.

If you wish to see the process, you can refresh your page. When the resync is done, the orange banner will disappear, and your contacts will be synced.

smrtPhone automatically syncs with Tape to upload your contacts on a routine basis, but you might want to do a forced sync depending on your current needs.


Mapping Users

You have the option to map your smrtPhone Users with your CRM users. In the same dashboard, below the options of Reinstall and Reconfigure, there is the table with all your smrtPhone users that are part of this account.

From the drop-down menu on the right, select the proper user to map. If you don't want the users to be linked anymore, head back to Admin > Tape Setup and click the βœ–οΈ next to the user, on the Tape User column and it will be removed.

Even if this mapping might be useful, it is not mandatory, is optional.
