smrtPhone gives you the option to select a specific phone number to be used as the default Outbound Caller ID per agent, among other setup options.
If you want the same setup and to save some time, you can customize the Caller IDs for departments and then add your users to those departments and they will have all set up for them.
Your users' Caller IDs are defined by the department they are in. They can also be changed at user level from the User tab.
Define a specific phone number for each member of your account to be used as the default Caller ID. Click on the Settings Tab. You will be presented with the configuration settings for that user.
There, you have the option to customize and choose among the Available Caller IDs and give them permissions to: all account caller IDs, custom caller IDs, or Department caller IDs. Depending on your choice, they will be able to use specific caller IDs available on your account.
You can also set a Default Caller ID for particular users, independent from the Department setup.
Here, you can set up a default caller ID for the user to use while dialing and texting.
If a user is removed from all departments or was never included, they will keep the permissions assigned.
Only the Owner of the account and users with granted permissions can define a default Caller ID for the members of the account.
