smrtPhone gives you the ability to select a specific phone number to be used as the default 'Outbound Caller Id' per agent.
If you are the account administrator, all you have to do is to head over Admin ---> Users.
For each member of your account, you wish to define a specific phone number to be used as the default 'Caller ID', click on the 'Settings' Icon. You will be presented with the configuration settings for that user.
Caller ID Functionality
There are 3 options available:
Allow - By choosing this option, your user can change his Caller ID manually from the Dialer. There are no restrictions
Don't Allow - By choosing this option, your user will be forced to use as the default Caller Id, the number that you have selected inside the Default Caller ID Box
Use Global -By choosing this option the settings will be picked up from the Account Settings ( Allows Caller ID Change - Link to be added )
Note: Only the admins of the account can define a default Caller ID for the members of the account.
