To listen to your voicemails on your smrtPhone Mobile App, start in the Inbox tab from the lower menu on the app. It defaults to your text message inbox, and if you select the Menu icon (β‘) from the upper left of this screen, it will give you the option to view your voicemails.
The menu is only available for Android users. iOS users have a new design - with the same functionality.
Individual Voicemails
Voicemails assigned to any Teams you are in
Once you see the voicemail you'd like to listen to, click on the Play button (βΆ) to listen to it.
Moreover, by clicking the Edit button, you can take bulk action on the voicemail messages. After clicking edit, select the voicemails you'd like to update, and then choose to:
Delete
Mark Unread
Mark Read
You also have the option to take quick action against a specific contact who left you a voicemail. Tap anywhere in the voicemail item to expand it, and three buttons appear:
Call back
Send a text message
Add Contact / Contact information
For iOS users, the app displays a new design that will also be available soon for Android users.
The new design has Teams all visible at the app's top, no side menu, and the communication history available by clicking the book icon π.
The functionality remains the same for all the app's functions, from conversations to voicemails (with audio and transcripts if available).
Visual Voicemail
If you have voicemail transcription activated on your account, you will be able to read the recorded transcript from the message.
Once it is enabled, for all voicemails moving forward, you can see the transcript of the received voicemail as text under the name of the caller.
Keep in mind that an additional fee of $0.06/min will apply for each voicemail once you turn on the voicemail transcription.
