The smrtPhone Chrome Extension is a powerful tool to unlock efficiency by minimizing clicks, giving quick access to call/text, and putting all the information you need at your fingertips.
(Disclaimer: even if the video only names one CRM, this functionality applies to all integrated CRMs, whit the additional specifications. Also, it does not contain the information about Video calling, but you can find all info you need within our Documentation)
Install the smrtPhone Chrome Extension
Visit the Chrome Web Store by clicking this link or through the icon on your smrtPhone Dashboard.
Click the blue Add to Chrome button
At the prompt, confirm you would like to Add Extension.
Click the Chrome Extension puzzle piece icon 🧩 in the upper right of your browser window to pull down the list of your available extensions
Click the white pin 📌 next to smrtPhone - Chrome Dialer so it fills in blue. This will pin the extension to your visible extensions menu
Don't forget to give the Chrome Extension access to your microphone 🎤 or else no one on the calls will be able to hear you!
Refresh your CRM Dashboard, and you will see that the call button next to phone fields now says Call | Text with smrtPhone - with one click, you can dial that phone number directly from the contact record or open a dialogue box to craft and send a text message.
You may have to restart Chrome for full effect (chrome://restart).
