Contacts that are imported into smrtLeads by Excel upload are available to be "cleaned" using 3rd party tools to ensure accuracy and no consent violations.
(Contacts imported by Webhook have inherent accuracy and consent, based on your web form. )
List Cleaning Services
Skip Trace - this action searches in multiple databases to collect all possible contact information for leads/properties, including phone numbers and email addresses.
DNC Scrub - compares the phone numbers to the National Do Not Call Registry to see if the contact has proactively stated they do not want to be contacted with offers.
Note: using Skip Tracing and DNC Scrubbing will incur per-lead usage charges.
If you are not sure if you want to Skip Trace or DNC Scrub while importing, you can later opt to using the "Actions" button from within the Source.
