AI Tools - Summary and Transcript
These tools, summary, and transcript are just the first of the AI tools that smrtPhone will integrate within its system over the next year.
AI Tools is a Pro Feature provided by smrtPhone available for Pro subscribers.
AI Tools Prep
AI Tools feature is present on many smrtPhone tabs, and you can use its benefits from the Dashboard to the Mobile App (only iOS at this moment, soon on Android).
Moreover, when the recordings are pushed to CRM, will attach the summary and the transcript of the recorded call.
When first landing on the dashboard you see the banner with AI Tools information.
Setup
You can choose to start customizing them straight or skip them for the moment. Just press Activate and start the customize.
Upgrade your subscription to Pro to benefit from the AI Tools.
You can also access it later from your dashboard, head to Admin > User > Settings.
As an Account Owner or user with enough permissions, you can toggle the ✨ AI option ON or OFF and select the users you want to have access to it. You can select some of them manually or all of them automatically.
If you decide to revoke this permission for any of the agents, come back and delete them here. Hit Save in both cases to implement the changes you made.
Once you decide on the users you what to add in here, hit Activate and you can move on to set up Keywords to be used in text recognition for Transcript and Summary.
Edit keywords when you need to by accessing smrtPhone Dashboard > Admin > Account Settings > AI Tools. You can add up to 20 keywords and customize them at any moment.

smrtPhone Web App Dashboard
On the smrtPhone Dashboard, the AI Tools will pop up in a small banner before activation to be able to find it really quick. After activation and configuration, AI Tools can still be accessed from your dashboard, in Admin > Account Settings.
To access AI Tools you need to have certain permissions, like editing Account Settings, editing Individual Settings, including Pro Setting.
smrtPhone Dialers
In your main dialer on the Web App Dashboard, Mobile App, and smrtDialer you can turn it on and off after activation and customization. Keep in mind that the AI Tools will be automatically turned on for the next call. The wand icon's look will tell you the status of your AI Tools feature:
🩶 Grey - AI Tools are not enabled. Activate the feature from Account Settings
🖤 Black - AI Tools are activated and working for this call. Click on the AI icon and turn it off
❤️ Red - AI tools are activated but disabled for this call
At launch, AI Tools are available for Web App Dialer, smrtDialer and Mobile App - only iOS. Android coming soon.
Call Logs
While accessing Call Logs you can see the transcript and the summary for each call that had Call Recording and AI Tools activated. Press on Call Details and you can see the recording, the summary, and the transcript.
Your customized keywords will show up underlined in the transcript. The fields' population might take up to 15 minutes, depending on the call's length.
Be aware of the fact that to have a transcript, keywords, and a summary for a phone call, the AI tool and the recording has to be turned ON. If the call recording was not on, the call is not recorded and the system cannot pull summaries or other details. Or if the recording was ON, but the AI was disabled, transcripts, keywords, and summaries aren't created.
Search among your transcript with the keywords and follow the conversation. The speakers' names are automatically pulled by the system and shown in the transcript. Due to our carriers' regulations, there might be some details retained from the transcript, depending on the used language.
The keywords are also contextual. This can lead to phrases or words being highlighted that are not exactly what you set up your keyword to be, but some extra related information as well.
smrtDialer Campaigns
In smrtDialer, when creating campaigns, you can enable the ✨ AI Tools as well, while customizing the Call Engine. Do not forget when you toggle ON AI Tools, to also toggle ON the recording option.
This option is also available for previously created campaigns, reach to settings, and then toggle ON the AI Tools, then hit Save. It will be active for the next campaign run.
Video Call
During video calls, you can also use the AI Tools. The functionality is the same for a video call as it is for a regular dialer call. And you can find the recording in the logs.
AI Logs
AI Logs are very useful because of their storage format. You can search and filter the recordings with filters' help, from keywords to call durations.
When you access the logs, on the page are already displayed the calls, type of calls, date, and even the summary. Even if there is no search word among keywords and summaries yet, you can use the basic search in the browser with the keyboard's commands (Command + f or CRTL + f).
Your transcripts, summaries, and keywords are pushed to your CRM and you can find them in your communication apps that are connected with calls and recordings.
At this moment, just Podio CRM pulls these data from smrtPhone. We are waiting for all CRMs confirmation.

Also, the AI Tool brings a charge that will be applied to your recording.
