Yes, your free trial includes a free smrtPhone subscription - currently for 30 days. During that time, you do not have to pay the subscription fees.
However, all usage is not free of charge. Calling and texting are chargeable.
Please keep in mind that all calls/text messages can be performed only in the US space. After the trial period, you can text internationally, but for international calls, you have to be registered with Trust Center.
The free trial subscription is limited because it is intended for trying out the system. Activating the subscription will remove all limitations and will charge your first month's subscription.
