Yes, all users can now search for messages inside any smrtPhone Dialer no matter what credentials they are signed in with.

Just type in the Search Bar the details you're looking for and hit Enter/the search button.

How to use the search function in Inbox

Web App

When you're in your smrtPhone Dashboard, head to Inbox, on the left side, and access it. On the top of the screen, you will find the search bar. Start typing in the keywords to find what you are looking for.

Use the Contact's name, phone number, or parts of the text to find what you are looking for.

This search will action within the entire Inbox, for both individual and teams Inbox, taking you to the conversation(s) where your answer lives.

Chrome Extension, Mobile App & CTI

There are two options at the top of the submenu under the header Messages: Inbox and Voicemail - personal and teams. Access the Inbox tab to use the search function for both individuals and teams.

Cast about keywords, names/last names, or phone numbers - just type in what you are looking for and hit enter or the search button πŸ”. Please keep in mind that you have to press the searching button since the search will not start automatically.

Your text messages containing the searched keywords will appear in the Inbox of this section and should be the default when clicking in. You can select any message from the list, read it, and reply directly from this interface.

As mentioned before, it will show search answers even for team conversations.

You can scroll up and down if the results show more than one answer based on your keywords.

We suggest making the search as accurate as possible, to narrow down the results list.

Search within conversation

Moreover, if you look for a particular detail within a conversation, you can do that, in the same way.

Go to that particular conversation, search for what you need, and then hit the search button or enter.

You have to keep in mind that this function is not available for Web App at this moment.

This is the easiest way to find important information among or within conversations.
